Mrs Ruth Cascile Ledwell Siler passed away March 23rd at the age of 85
Cascile was born January 24th 1937 to the late Essie Lee Ledwell and the late Derotha Baldwin, but was raised by her Grand parents Ollie & Florence Ledwell.
She attended and graduated from Asheboro Central High School, at an early age Cascile was a member of Mitchell United Methodist Church where she played the piano, it was in her adult years that she joined St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Cascile was an expert seamstress and could make anything from little girl dresses to suit jackets with the lining and labels with her name on them, her greatest joy was her grand kids and cooking.
She was preceded in death by two sons Joseph Frederick and Kenneth Delmonte, two sisters Clara Leake and Yolanda Baldwin.
Cascile is survived by 3 children Rene’ Siegfried (Dennis Siegfried) of Siler City, Cheryl Patterson of Asheboro, Azel Patterson (Tamika) of Statesville and a grandson that she raised from a baby Michael Patterson, 4 step children Larry Anthony (Gwyn), Russell (Brianna), Dennis (Carrie), and Karen Marie, 3 sisters; Bettie and Edith Baldwin of Asheboro, and Zina Baldwin of Atlanta Georgia.
Also left to cherish her memories are 12 grand children, 18 great grand children 2 great great grand children 1 neice, 1 great nephew, and a host of cousins and friends.
Cascile will be truly missed by all
