On Wednesday evening, March 16th, 2022, as he was surrounded by his loved ones, Michael Antony Spinks peacefully ascended to this heavenly home. Michael Anthony was the son of Rev. Sister Carolyn Covington and William Stewart (Bill) Spinks born in Asheboro, NC On June 17, 1967. He was known as “Bloodrush or “One Mike” to many of us.
Mike as we called him, loved to work on things, he loved working on electronics, lawnmowers, and bicycles. Mike never met a stranger once you met him. He would have you laughing if you see or heard him from a distance. He loved to laugh, smile, and tell the women how beautiful they looked. Mike also loved to sit on his balcony and talking to everyone that came by. He was well known to his neighbors to whom he thought a lot of.
His mother; Rev. Carolyn Covington, Grandparents; June and Waver Covington and J.W and Margie Spinks, Aunts; Willie Mae Siler, Virginia C Leake, Julie C. Spinks, Brenda C. Thomas, Jeanette Covington, Barbara Spinks, Uncles; Roger Spinks, Terry Spinks and Ernest Lee Davis and a niece; Keisha Spinks, also preceded him in death.
