Erick KeyShawn Herring

Erick Keyshawn Herring was born January 13, 1990 in High Point, NC to Marcella “Marcie” D. Hill and Roger D. Herring. Erick transitioned into eternal life on March 23, 2022.
Erick was educated in Randolph County Schools and earned his GED through Job Corps in Kittrell, NC. Erick’s artistic personality was evident through his love for music, drawing, culinary, and the ability to make people laugh. In addition to his jovial persona; he also enjoyed spending time with the loves of his life, his two beautiful daughters. Erick was preceded in death by his two paternal grandfathers Leander Herring Sr. and Barnette Ross. His memories will live on through his parents Marcie Hill and Roger Herring. Two daughters Kiley and Kalyn Herring and their mother Amari McNeil. Brothers Quinton Herring, Everett “EJ” Hunter, Roderick Herring, and Houston Hunter. Maternal grandmother Altheia Alston and paternal grandmother Gloria
(Eugene) Chestnut. And his maternal grandfather Billy “Bill” Miller. Three special Aunts Tasha (Shaan) Tyson, Tamara (Tracy) Holloway, and Robin (Chad) Brower. Uncles Leander
(Stephanie) Herring, Kenneth (Kimberly) Ross, Antonio (Johnetta) Ross, William Miller, Joseph Miller, and Bill Jennings. God-siblings Zion Willard, Simoya McClees, and Ashara Spruill.
Two lifelong friends Devin Smithwick and Ashley Parson. A host of great aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
