Curtis Lewis

Rev. Curtis Lewis, 76 of Asheboro, NC entered a peaceful sleep of enteral rest on December 28, 2023 in Randolph County. Curtis was born on October 21, 1947 in Pasquotank county to the late Willis Lewis and Alice Nellie Lewis. He married the mother of his three children: Rosa Lewis Patterson. Rev. Curtis Lewis was raised in Elizabeth City, NC. He graduated at P.W. Moore High School. Rev. Curtis loved the Lord and his family. He was known as the "Cabinet Man". He was called into ministry and pastoral The Church of  God of Prophecy in Mt. Gilead, NC and The Church of God of Prophecy at Woodlawn St. Asheboro, NC.

Rev. Curtis Lewis leaves to cherish his memory: mother of his children; Dr. Rosa Lewis Patterson, one daughter; Wendy Lewis Garner (Johnathan), one son; Michael Lewis and one daughter; Kendra Katrina Lewis who preceded him death. He has two granddaughters; Tunekwah Alsbrook (Willie) of the home Asehboro, Dymond McPhatter, High Point, ; one great granddaughter; Korinne Alsbrook. Two grandsons; Javon Lewis and Shakieus Lewis, Asheboro, NC. 

Rev. Curtis Lewis has tree brothers; Willis Lewis and Vernon Lewis (Elaine) of Elizabeth City, NC and Weldon Lewis of Lynn, Mass. two sisters ; Annie Mullen (Leroy) and Mary Bowe of Elizabeth City. Siblings that preceded him in death: James, Robert, Ernest, Willey, Wink, Louise, Velma and Mozzle.
