Alvin Dewitt Houston was born on June 24, 1953 was the son of Robert and Elzina Houston. He departed this life on April 13, 2023.Alvin enjoyed listening to music and singing. He loved to play, smile and joke. He was a sharp dresser and rarely seen without his kangol.
In 1988 Alvin moved to Randolph County, North Carolina, met the love of his life Mrs. Wonnette Coble Houston. They were married in 1990. To this union one son was born Ivan Houston. Alvin was preceded in death by his father Robert and mother Elzina. Also, siblings Aileen, Billy, Mickey, Boy Robert, Theodore, Melvin and Clarke. Special nephew Iver Sadler who passed on February 14, 2023. His last sister Lois Vance who passed on April 1, 2023.
His life and memory will be forever charished by his wife Wonnetta, one son Ivan Houston of the home. Two daughters Nicole(Ronald) Johnson of Charlotte, NC, Latasha Johnson of Charlotte, NC, one brother Calvin of Charlotte, NC, Grandchildren Willie, Markeisha, Ronald Jr., Ykyri, Christian and Raven McClees. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
